Williamson County Sheriff's Office Citizen's Academy

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office Citizen's Academy is an exciting 12 week program that allows participants a firsthand look at how the agency operates.  As a member, you will learn about the latest trends and procedures in law enforcement, as well as the duties and responsibilities of the various departments.  You will also have the opportunity to participate in tours of various Sheriff's Office buildings and ride in an agency vehicle with a patrol deputy.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office Citizen's Academy meets one evening a week from 7 to 10 p.m.  The program is 12 weeks long and there is no cost to participate, but seating is limited. For more information or for an application form, please contact Johnathan Kidwell at (512) 943-3316.

Williamson County Sheriff's Office Law Enforcement Citizen Academy Alumni Association

As graduates of the Citizen Law Enforcement Academy, members can help create awareness and foster better relationships between law enforcement officers and the people they serve in our community. Membership is open to all students from the academy that will represent the organization in a positive and professional manner.
