Juvenile Services

The Williamson County Juvenile Services Department functions as a legal entity of Williamson County.  The department operates under the authority of the Williamson County Juvenile Board.  The Juvenile Board is comprised of the District Judges and the County Judge.  One primary responsibility of the Board is to appoint the Executive Director of Juvenile Services.  Williamson County Juvenile Services deals with youth ages 10 through 16 years of age who are accused of committing crimes.  The Department serves any  youth who either resides in or who has committed an offense in Williamson County.

The Williamson County Juvenile Services moved into the new Juvenile Justice Annex in Georgetown, Texas in January, 2003.  The Annex facility is the central home to all of the Department’s primary divisions.
