VOLUNTEER TO HELP AT THE NEW
CENTER
Volunteers continue to be accepted for positions in the new Center. Shifts are from 9AM to 1PM or 1PM to 5PM. Volunteers
are required to fill out an application form which is available by clicking
on
Volunteer Application. Due to the confidentiality of services
provided at the Children's Advocacy Center, Volunteers will be carefully
screened through the application process, followed by a personal interview,
and then background checks. Upon acceptance, Volunteers will go
through a four hour training course. The work is very rewarding and we
look forward to meeting those who want to give back to the Community through
our Center.

"Paving the Future for the
Children of Williamson County"
The new Williamson County Children's Advocacy
Center will be opening in the fall of 2007. Included in the design is a
Memorial Garden, with a brick path leading to a seating area. The path
will be built with over 2200 bricks, suitable for engraving. These bricks
provide an opportunity to honor those living and honor the memory of those
deceased. We expect to dedicate the
Memorial Garden in mid 2008.
Bricks purchased prior to April 1st will be in place for the dedication.
Bricks purchased after that date will be laid periodically. Donors
will be notified when their bricks have been laid. Bricks are red in
color and size 4 x 8. The cost per brick is $50.00 ($35 of the
purchase price is a deductible donation). To order a brick, you can
download the
Paver Purchase Form, or call the Center at
(512) 943-3701 to have a form(s)
mailed to you. Proceeds from the sale of the Brick Pavers will be used
for expenses in the new facility.
